October IWSG: Harvesting a Pearl (A Few Thoughts on Revision)

If y'all are anything like my friends and family, you're probably thinking, "Be done with it woman! Aren't you finished revising that darn manuscript yet?" I won't bore you with all the gritty details, because well, most likely most of you understand where I'm coming from. But here's the gist of it.

No. I'm not finished yet. (Darn it) Did you know it takes 1 to 6 years for a freshwater pearl to form? 5-20 years if we're talking saltwater.

In light of it being post day for the Insecure Writer's Support Group, I'm sharing a few good revision gems. Make sure to visit the IWSG website to find out how the anniversary will be celebrated this year. Best of luck to all of you who're submitting to the anthology!! Me, I'll have to pass, so I can complete the pearling process.

Revision Gems

~Until next time, write on, y'all!

  6. Those are some great resources. I know that revisions can go on forever, but I have fun with them. Continuity between books in the series is my biggest challenge.
