A Box of LITTLE ACORN'S BIG FALL Arrived!!

It's been a super busy week! Spring Break, my father's in town from Chicago, and we've been running since last weekend. I'm ready for a bit of normalcy around here! I was actually going to wait until the chaos settled to do this post, but since my box of goodies arrived on my front porch last night, I decided to do a quick CHECK IT OUT!!! post. This may sound weird, but the first thing I did when I opened the box was sniff the books! Anyone else love the scent of books?

I received a picture in a text this morning of my 4-year-old nephew reading my book before bedtime last night. I would've loved to have posted it here, except he was in his Spiderman underwear! Not a appropriate photo for the blog, but it sure was adorable!
My first signature!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope to visit blogs as soon as my life returns from crazyville.

~Have a fabulous weekend, y'all!!!

  3. For some reasons my browser isn't opening the pictures! But how exciting to finally see and hold and SMELL your book (yes, I love the smell of books!). Enjoy this moment.

  4. @Alex, I know, right!

    @Melissa, Really?? Aw, I'm so touched. :))

    @Julie, Okay, I think I've fixed the image problem. At first they were copy and pasted right out of my email. But then I went back in and uploaded onto computer and then into the post. Hopefully, it works better now. I couldn't get the middle one to upload for some reason, so I've left it off for now. Thanks!!

  8. Those books look terrific, and I bet they smell even better! And congrats on winning a March Madness prize! I never would have known about MM if it weren't for you, so it's only fair that you should win a prize, too.

    Hope you're feeling better physically and mentally. It's so easy to let the disappointment consume you and hide from the world but I've learned from recent experiences that things only get better when you peek out from under your shell and let the world see you (and your work). Keep at it Candilynn, and don't hesitate to share your disappointments and insecurities along with your triumphs and successes. That's what we're here for! :-)

    Chris, Aw, thank you! I'm so glad you are taking part in MM. I hope you're getting a lot out of the challenge! I did fall behind, but I'm back on track. Got a lot going on, and of course, the other cruddy stuff I mentioned over at Denise's. I really appreciate your kind words. They mean a ton to me. :)
