Does anyone else adore libraries? I visit libraries in every town I travel to. If it's not on the itinerary, I sneak a peek when the family is busy doing something else.

Anyone up for a road trip to Kansas?

The Newton Public Library is located in Newton, Kansas at 720 North Oak Street, in Military Park. This public library in Kansas City is made to look like a giant bookshelf.
Open hours: Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

    1. Thanks Alex and TYR! Yes, the library is by far one of the most bookish exteriors I've ever laid eyes on. :)

  3. Congratulations Candilynn. Well deserved. We loved your story. Can't wait for your next one.
I ADORE libraries.Back in my hometown, Brisbane, I live close to the two biggest libraries in Queensland and I practically live in them. (Well,I teach at the State Library so have to spend a lot of time there.) I'm looking forward to visiting the library here in Nadi Town, Fiji. They lost many books in the floods a short time ago and many writers turn up with books to donate. Cool. D

  9. Congratulations on the award, Candilynn! I love that Kansas library! I wonder if Victor ever hid out in that library? He'll never tell. He probably slept on top of the giant books!

  10. @Angelina, isn't it the coolest. I agree. :)
@Michael, I'll probably have to catch it on a trip to somewhere else. We've driven through Kansas several times, but it's never our destination.
@Crystal, your comments about my entry meant the world to me, thanks!
@Roland, I could see Victor hiding out there. :)

@Angela, Thanks sweetie. :) I was sent this image from a friend. I think if I would have encountered this one on my own, I would've died on the spot.

  15. Hello.
Congratulations! The harlot award is pretty impressive isn't it? (LOL...that's what a few of us over at RFW call it).
You might like to join my monthly challenge over at my other blog, Lovers' Cove. All you need do is write a line in 15 words or less, BUT your line must continue on in thought from the previous person in the Linky. That's the challenge! More here...

That sure is an awesome-looking library! Wish ours looked like that.
