Belated CassaFire Blog Party Post & Check Out Oppression, Too!

Will y'all ever forgive me, Alex...Jessica??? Gosh, I hope so. I'm five days late to the CassaFire Release Party and Blog Tour...and three days late to Oppression's release party. Shame on me.

(Yes, my spine surgery went well, am on the mend. But this post is for Alex & Jessica!)

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting these two amazingly-awesome authors in Rach Harrie's 3rd Campaigner Challenge last fall.

So, check out Alex's Blog and catch fire!  Alex J. Cavanaugh
There are great prizes and all sorts of fun stuff on his blog!

Here's CassaFire's cool book trailer...

Alex, I wish you all the best with the new release. You rock!!!

Also, Jessica Therrien's Oppression was released as well!! Jessica Therrien's Blog

Today is day three after Oppression's release. I've heard it's doing amazing already!!! Congrats and have a super blast at your B & N signing today, Jessica!!!

Please check out both of these fantastic author blogs. I'm just sorry I missed out on day one of both parties. I wish y'all the best and looking forward to checking both books out!!!

  1. Thanks you, Candy! I don't mind in the least that it's late and I'm sure Jessica doesn't either.
Glad the surgery went well. That is far more important!

  2. I am so glad the surgery went well. The madness from the blood center kept me from visiting here as often as I had planned. Alex is such a great guy that it's fun that he's doing so well with his sales! You get better. Victor is having a hard time in 1834 New Orleans right now or he would be sending you another bad joke! Roland

  3. My goodness, Candy. Did I know you were having surgery? Glad it went well. Have missed you.

  4. Candy, you are so amazing - even while still recovering from your surgery, you still think of your friends :-)

Congratulations to Jessica and to Alex (again!).

  5. It's good to see you're doing well Candy!

And that book trailer--it's amazing! Congrats to both Alex and Jessica on their new releases

  6. ~Alex, I truly wish ya the best! I look forward to our IWSG post this week!
~Roland, gosh you've really been working a ton lately. I hope you're pacing yourself. And, I can't even begin to tell you what it's meant to me that you've checked in as often as you did. Even though I didn't log into the blog, I saw your kind posts through my gmail. It really brightened my days. :)) Hope Victor's stresses ease up soon, too! Say hello to Alice for me.
~Angelina, It's been forever since we had a moment to chat. Yeah, a lot has gone on for me. Surgery was a must, I found out back in December and finally on Feb. 20th got it done. Lots better now.
~Angela, you're truly one of the sweetest bloggers I know. :))
~Kirsten, Thanks!! Yes, the trailer was great! I ended up watching it several times before I finally figured out how to add it to my post. lol, I'm so not a techie. Thank goodness for my girls!

  7. So glad to hear the surgery went well!! Yay!!!

  8. Glad the surgery went well! I have one of Alex's books on my kindle, and I will check out Jessica's too.

  9. WOW, Candy! Spine surgery? You're one rock of a woman. I hope you're feeling better!! Thanks for posting this.

  10. Thanks, Kelley, Catherine, and Jessica!!!
